Proverbs 22:1, A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
Three years ago on October 3, 2013, about two hours after I opened up the Missions’ Revival at Pacific Baptist Church of Long Beach, our world was changed. My brother, Pastor Joe Esposito, was rushed to the hospital, and to this day, as his wife Mary recently mentioned during the Missions’ Revival at PBCLB, his voice has been silenced!
Thankful for his love for Christ and for people. Grateful for his and Miss Mary’s willingness to sacrifice for Christ and the cause of Christ around the world, beginning in their home, extending to their Jerusalem, and to the uttermost parts of the world!
Only God knows how many souls have been saved, hearts have been stirred, and lives have been changed because of their devotion and dedication!
The dream still lives on because it is not simply one man’s dream, but the very heart of of God!
A special thanks to Miss Mary who, for three years now, has carried a burden none of us will ever understand and has carried it with grace, providing an example for us all!
I also want to thank Pastor Steve Meyers, his wife Alma, and the rest of the staff and church family at PBCLB and PBCMP, as well as the teams in Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand, for going forward for Christ during these difficult times the past three years!
Please continue to pray for my brother, his wife, the family, the church family, and the three teams presently faithfully serving in Southeast Asia, as well as those who will surrender to go to China in the days to come!
Just reflecting on Pastor Joe’s legacy that still lives on today!
