Luke 17:15-19, And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. 17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? 18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. 19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
Thanksgiving Day has come and is gone. The Holiday Season is in full swing. The next 30 days, for many, will be about shopping until you drop. May God help us to, even during this season of consumerism, have an attitude of gratitude for the One who paid the ultimate price for our redemption!
A grateful heart results in a bright life for the glory of God and for the good of others!
The story of Jesus healing the ten lepers in Luke 17:11-19 is a great reminder that many may get saved and be blessed by God, but few are willing to come to Jesus with a heart of gratitude. A spirit of thanksgiving or an attitude of gratitude will always result in a willingness to SERVE Christ, SACRIFICE for the cause of Christ, and a willingness to be SENT for Christ, even to the uttermost parts of the world!
