“… out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” (JN 7:38).
Far too many of us, though saved, are not experiencing the life Christ intended. We are stuck in a rut. We have replaced a living and loving relationship with the Lord Jesus with a “religious ritualism.” We are simply “going through the motions,” and in some cases, we aren’t even doing that real well!
Jesus offers His people, not only eternal life, but abundant life. He can bring life out of what has become death. This is what we call revival (PSA 85:6). He can bring waters, living waters, out of the driest of desert experiences!
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and RIVERS IN THE DESERT. … I will give waters in the wilderness, and RIVERS IN THE DESERT, to give drink to My people” (ISA 43:19-20).
“For I will pour water in him that is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground: I will pour out My Spirit …” (ISA 44:3).
The question is, “Are we thirsty?”
“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst … for they shall be filled” (MATT 5:6).
