The Compassion of Christ

Compassion 1“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not” (MATT 23:37).

Regardless of how far people were from God, how wicked they had lived, and how difficult they had become, Jesus had compassion on them. He loved them, He cared for them, and He sought to reach out to them with a compassionate heart and a compassionate hand.

Compassion 2Compassion makes a difference in the lives of the hurting, the helpless, and the hopeless, it is the trademark of a Spirit-filled Christian life, and it is desperately needed if we are going to reach the lost around the corner and around the world!

Just reflecting!!!
